Geotailの追跡管制問題



本論文では、Geotailミッションの追跡管制問題を論ずる。この探査機は1992年7月24日に打ち上げられ
、以降宇宙科学研究所の臼田宇宙空間観測所によって順調に追跡が行われている。

このGeotailの軌道決定の結果を他の宇宙研の深宇宙ミッションの結果と併せて本論文に報告する。

Abstract

The tracking and orbit determination (OD) problems of Geotail mission are discussed in 

this paper. The spacecraft was launched on July 24 ,1992 and it has been smoothly tracked by 

the Usuda antenna of ISAS (Institute of Space and Astronautical Science) as well as by the 

Deep Space Network of NASA.

The OD results of Geotail are reported in this paper, together with those of Hiten and 

Sakigake which are the remaining deepspace probes of ISAS.0
